Construction is moving up on the mixed-use development 100 Queens Quay E. in Toronto.
The project, being developed by Menkes Developments along with construction manager EllisDon Corp., will include a 24-storey office tower with 120,000-square-feet of commercial retail space. The LCBO will be a major tenant of the proposed Class “AAA” office tower and will also have a 25,000-square-foot flagship LCBO retail store on the ground floor. The owners are Greystone Managed Investments Inc. and Menkes Developments Ltd. The project is designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification with completion scheduled for summer 2021. The architect for the project is B+H Architects and consultants are Stephenson Engineering (structural), The Mitchell Partnership (mechanical), Mulvey and Banani International (electrical) and NAK Design Group (landscape).
