TORONTO — The Ontario government recently announced it has amended its emergency order designating essential workplaces to include certain prescribed building projects in the agricultural sector.
The April 10 order added projects that would provide additional capacity in the production, processing, manufacturing or distribution of food, beverages or agricultural products that are due to be completed before Oct. 4, 2020.
The announcement from Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Ernie Hardeman was effective immediately.
