SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS—The Canadian Construction Association recognized industry excellence in areas such as innovation, commitment to the environment and health and safety education at its recent awards ceremony in San Antonio, Texas, which was held during the association’s 97th annual conference. The winners were:
The General Contractor Award of Recognition: Jason Ball, Ball Construction.
The Trade Contractor Award of Recognition: Kevin McEvoy, Guildfords Inc.
The Civil Infrastructure Award: Frank Rizzardo, Emcon Services Inc.
The Partner Association of the Year: ACQ (l’Association de la construction du Québec).
The National Gold Seal Award: Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association.
The International Business Award: Sièges Ducharme.
The Community Leader Award: Norm Castonguay, Asbex Environmental Contractors and Heritage Grade.
Environmental Achievement Award: PCL Constructors Inc.; Excellence in Innovation Award: PCL Constructors Inc.
The National Safety Award of Excellence: Grand Valley Construction.
