HAMILTON, ONT. — The Hamilton-Halton Construction Association (HHCA) honoured more than 30 members with safety awards at its 97th annual general meeting and dinner.
The safety awards recognize member firms who achieved an excellent injury/frequency score in 2014/2015 and are awarded based on average hours worked. Forty HHCA members obtained a score of one or less.
The following is a list of the winners:
Category 1: 500,000 average hours worked and over – Alberici Constructors Ltd., PCL Constructors Canada Inc., Safway Services Canada Inc;
Category 2: 250,000 to 499,999 average hours worked – All Canada Crane Rental Corp., Reimar Forming & Construction, Viana Roofing & Sheet Metal Ltd.;
Category 3: 100,000 to 249,999 average hours worked – AGF Access Inc., Barclay Construction Group Inc., Bennett Mechanical Installations (2001) Ltd., Bermingham Foundation Solutions Limited, BML Multi Trades Group Ltd., Cahill Electric Inc., Fer-Pal Construction Ltd., John Kenyon Limited, Lancaster Group Inc., Mattina Mechanical Limited, McGowan Insulations Ltd., Ron Lee Construction Inc., Schreiber Brothers Limited, The Belluz Group Ltd., Triple Crown Enterprises Ltd., Walter Field Services Inc.;
