TORONTO — The Young Construction Leaders (YCL) will once again be taking part in the Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) Team Up Challenge.
The challenge is an all-day sports tournament where teams compete in soccer, basketball and ball hockey on June 18 in Toronto.
The MLSE Team Up Challenge is held in support of Camp Trillium which provides recreational experiences to kids living with cancer, their siblings and parents, so they can heal and have fun together. The YCL had seven teams participating last year and raised about $35,000. This year, the YCL has set a goal to hit $50,000.
YCL reports it will be getting its network in Toronto together to build teams and raise money for the event.
