TORONTO — The Consulting Engineers of Ontario (CEO) has issued a call for entries for the 2018 Ontario Consulting Engineering Awards.
The submission period for the notice of intention to submit is now open until Nov. 10, notes a media release. The final entry submission deadline is Dec. 10.
Projects entered must have been completed from Jan. 1, 2016 to Sept. 30, 2017.
CEO member firms may submit projects that involve other CEO member firms or non-CEO member firms. Joint submissions involving non-CEO members are acceptable only if the CEO member firms did more than 50 per cent of the work and submit in their name, the statement indicates.
Four awards of excellence will be given according to the firm sizes. Categories include firms with one to 50 employees, 51 to 100 employees, 101 to 350 employees and more than 351 employees.
The CEO will also present the awards of merit in six categories: building engineering and science; environment; industry, energy and resources; project management; studies and research; and transportation.
The winners will be announced at a gala event in April 2018. More information on the awards submission guidelines is available at www.ceo.on.ca.
