Construction is moving upwards on the River City Condominiums phase three in Toronto.
Bluescape Construction Management Inc. is building the 29-storey tower with 330 units for owner Urban Capital Property Group. The project has been designed to meet LEED Gold certification and it will have ground floor retail, six levels of above grade parking, a gym, a fitness and yoga centre, a reading room, children’s play space and an outdoor pool. The architects are Saucier + Perrotte Architects/ ZAS Architect Inc. in a joint venture. Consultants are Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. (structural) and Smith + Andersen Consulting Engineers (mechanical/electrical). Subtrades include: Coreydale Contracting Co. (excavation); GeoFoundations (piling/caissons); C&T Reinforcing Steel Co. (1987) Ltd.; Viewmount (formwork); CBM (concrete); D. Zentil Mechanical Ltd./PM Sheet Metal (mechanical) and Nortown Electrical Contractors.
