OAKVILLE, ONT. — Ontario is investing in a new courthouse in Oakville.
Construction of the courthouse is expected to begin in late 2019 and be complete about four years later.
The new 21-courtroom facility will offer a range of justice, family, social and victim services, bringing the Superior Court of Justice and Ontario Court of Justice operations in Milton and Burlington together in one location, states a release issued June 21.
The courthouse will be designed to meet LEED Silver certification.
