MISSISSAUGA, ONT. — The Ontario Road Builders’ Association (ORBA) is now accepting applications for its Civil Engineering and Civil Technology Scholarships from students finishing high school and entering their first year in an Ontario university or college.
According to a release, the scholarships are aimed at promoting entry into the roadbuilding industry and gives the winners the opportunity to network with industry leaders and be recognized by their peers at the Annual Convention and AGM held on Feb. 4 and 5, 2019 at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto.
ORBA’s education committee is looking for students who are enthusiastic about the roadbuilding industry and the impact that they can make when they enter the work force.
The scholarship application, including accompanying documents, must be received no later than May 31. Application forms and more information are available at orba.org/scholarships.
