Paez joins SvN as landscape architecture lead
SVN—New SvN landscape architecture practice lead Gerardo Paez has a portfolio that includes major Toronto-area open space designs.

TORONTO—SvN Architects and Planners has introduced Gerardo Paez as the firm’s new landscape architecture practice lead.

Paez, a landscape architect with an architectural background, has led various high-profile projects ranging from Toronto’s waterfront promenades to major parks and open spaces for Vaughan’s Metropolitan Centre, stated a recent release.

Notable SvN projects underway with a significant landscape architecture component include Shoppers World Brampton, Rail Deck Reset and the public realm spaces for Metrolinx’s Ontario Line subway stations.

SvN manager partner Drew Sinclair commented, “We are thrilled to have Gerardo bring his technical and design expertise to the helm of SvN’s landscape design practice. His deep knowledge in landscape design is incredibly valuable to our ongoing projects and teams.”

“I’m thrilled to join a firm that truly takes a multidisciplinary focus and approach to all their work,” said Paez. “From architecture and planning to urban design and landscape, the collaborative process is key to every aspect of SvN’s projects. I look forward to breaking new ground with the firm, as landscape design increasingly becomes a focal point of many new development sites.”
