TORONTO — Canadian Autodesk partner SolidCAD has announced a new partnership with NBS, a U.K.-based digital construction specifications provider.
SolidCAD is a technology service provider for the construction sector including architectural and engineering work, and an Autodesk Platinum Partner. NBS offers a technology platform for construction specifications, standards and model integration via the web.
In 2017, SolidCAD and Cansel joined forces to form one national operation, newly branded as SolidCAD, a Cansel Company, and since then SolidCAD has been active acquiring several Autodesk resellers across Canada and establishing new partnerships with technology providers across the world, said a July 8 statement.
NBS acquired Alberta-based Digicon Inc. in 2017 and can offer content in Chorus for both Canadian Master Specification and National Master Specification.
“SolidCAD is happy to be the first and currently the only Canadian partner with NBS,” said Michael Kugan, president of SolidCAD, in the release. “We believe in providing leading technology solutions to our clients, and that means investing both the time and resources into our team so they can provide unique expertise that help streamline our customers’ processes. NBS products will help digitize building specifications, standards and regulations within the construction industry.
