MISSISSAUGA, ONT. — Stanley Black and Decker (SBD) Canada employees are donating their time and talents to Habitat for Humanity Build Days in Toronto, Calgary and Montreal this month.
On Aug. 7, SBD, a provider of hand tools, power tools and related accessories, had teams working on eight homes with Habitat GTA on Pinery Trail in Toronto, stated a release. SBD employees in Calgary partnered with Habitat Southern Alberta on two homes on 36th St. SE in Calgary.
On Aug. 22, two teams of Montreal employees were scheduled to take part in the Habitat Quebec build on rue Bourassa.
After a day on the site, the Dewalt and Stanley tools used in the builds are donated to the local Habitat for Humanity organizations.
“We support Habitat in many ways, including volunteer builds and tool support,” said Joe Di Ilio, president of Stanley Black & Decker Canada, in the statement.
