REGINA, SASK. — The Brandt Group of Companies based in Regina, Sask. has announced the formation of a new roadbuilding division with plans to open Road Technology centres of excellence in Milton, Ont. and Calgary.
The company was recently appointed the exclusive Canadian dealer for Wirtgen Group roadbuilding equipment, stated an Oct. 28 release. A new business unit, Brandt Road Technology, will operate across Canada through the company’s Brandt Tractor locations.
Brandt will soon have 100 service points across the country as a result of the firm’s recent acquisition of Nortrax Canada, which closed Oct. 28.
The Road Technology division will offer specialized Wirtgen Group road construction products including Vogele pavers, Hamm compaction equipment and Wirtgen milling and concrete paving products. Brandt also sells John Deere construction equipment and Topcon positioning technologies.
