TORONTO – Construction and engineering firms were well represented among new winners as Deloitte Canada announced its 2021 Canada’s Best Managed Companies awards program.
Among the new winners unveiled May 5 were Averna, De La Fontaine, Magna IV Engineering, MP Lundy Construction, Muraflex, ORAM Plomberie du batiment, Priestly Demolition Inc. and State Window Corporation.
“In what may be the most challenging year for Canadian businesses since the program’s inception, the 2021 Best Managed winners are a shining example of the importance of leadership, innovation and resilience in the face of uncertainty,” said Kari Lockhart, national co-leader of the Canada’s Best Managed Companies program and partner with Deloitte Private, in a statement.
“These companies should not only be extremely proud of this designation, but for their organizational grit, continued adaptability and unwavering commitment to their people during a year when it was needed most.”

Maple Reinders was recognized for the 11th consecutive year.

Montoni Group was named for the 20th year in a row.
