CMHC to fund Moncton project
The federal government through the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation today announced funding of $16 million to help construct 76 residential units at 369 Highlandview Rd. in Moncton, N.B. Birch Meadows, a four-storey building by J.N. Lafford Realty Inc., is receiving the low-cost loan through the Government of Canada’s Rental Construction Financing initiative.
De Facto to support Brivia highrise project in Montreal
Quebec-based Brivia Group today announced the signing of a strategic partnership with Ipso Facto Real Estate Fund to support the 1 Square Phillips project in downtown Montreal. The 61-storey tower will offer both condos and rental units and is being built between Place Phillips and Saint-Alexandre. Construction began last July.
