TORONTO — Infrastructure Ontario has announced the three teams shortlisted to design, build and finance the GO Regional Express Rail (RER) Lakeshore West Infrastructure Improvements project in the Greater Toronto Area.
A media statement said the teams selected were Steelhead, EllisDon Infrastructure Transit and West Link Partners.
The project includes in-corridor enabling works, track improvements, grade separation and bridge replacement works to enable increased capacity on the Lakeshore West GO line. The scope includes Exhibition station in-corridor enabling works and track improvements, Long Branch station improvements, Clarkson station in-corridor enabling works, Kerr Street grade separation, Bronte station in-corridor enabling works, Burloak Drive grade separation, Drury Lane pedestrian bridge replacement and the Lewis Road layover facility phase two expansion.
