JAMES BAY, QUE. — The federal and provincial governments have announced funding towards construction of a 41-kilometre power line that will connect the James Bay Road in Quebec to the Hydro-Quebec electrical distribution network.
The total cost of the project is $4.8 million with the government of Canada spending $2.2 million while the Quebec government will contribute $2.6 million from the EcoPerformance Program.
