MISSISSAUGA, ONT. — Maple Reinders has announced it is launching a construction management scholarship at Toronto’s George Brown College.
The Maple Reinders Leadership in Construction Award was developed to help domestic or international students registered full-time at the school, said a recent statement. To be eligible a student must be enrolled full-time in the honours bachelor of technology construction management program through the Angelo DelZotto School of Construction Management.
President and CEO of Maple Reinders Harold Reinders commented in the statement, “Having personally sat on the program advisory committee for the construction management program for several years, I know first-hand the quality of education that these students are getting through the school.
“Throughout the years, Maple has had many students come through George Brown College, sometimes as co-op students who end up becoming full-time hires, or as recent graduates who come in on day one ready to work hard and contribute meaningfully.”
The inaugural scholarship will be presented in April 2019 at the centre’s divisional student awards.
