Chris Campbell, equity and diversity representative for the Carpenters’ District Council of Ontario, was presented with a Bromley Lloyd Armstrong Award May 26. The Equity Committee of Toronto and York Region Labour Council established the award in 2005 to commemorate the courage, dedication and outstanding service of Armstrong to the labour and human rights movements in Canada. This year’s theme was Poised for Action.
