OTTAWA — The Ministry of Labour (MOL) is investigating an incident that occurred in Ottawa Monday where a worker sustained critical injuries after being struck by a bulldozer.
According to the MOL, the incident occurred at Highway 417 between Maitland Avenue and Island Park Drive.
Media reports state it was a man in his 20s who was injured after the bulldozer ran over the lower half of his body.
The employer at the construction site is Aecon Construction Ontario East Limited and the constructor is Karson Asphalt Paving Inc.
The MOL issued one requirement for documentation to Aecon Construction Ontario East Limited and one requirement for documentation was also issued to Karson Asphalt Paving Inc.
