TORONTO — A worker was injured when scaffolding collapsed at an Etobicoke construction site in east Toronto on Monday morning, April 22.
Toronto police reported the worker was taken to a trauma centre with serious injuries.
The worker was on the job at a construction site in the Glen Agar Drive/Duncairn Drive area when the scaffolding collapsed. Police reported the worker fell and was trapped under debris but was still conscious and breathing.
Beaverbrook Avenue was closed for a police investigation.
Unfortunately the worker has since passed away.
