MISSISSAUGA — Peel Police reported a man was injured on a jobsite in Mississauga yesterday during a paving operation.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. at Netherhart Road and Meyerside Drive in Mississauga. The police reported the victim was struck by a vehicle and transported to a trauma centre in what was originally reported to be life-threatening condition.
A later report noted that the injuries are no longer considered life threatening.
The Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development reported that the constructor on the site is Pacific Paving Limited. The ministry investigation continues.
