TORONTO – Toronto Police have reported that there was a shooting on Steeles Avenue West at Alness Street in north Toronto with one man taken into custody.
The incident occurred near a construction site with multiple reports indicating construction workers were involved in an altercation with the alleged gunman. At least one victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries. York Police also attended the scene.
Officers were searching the area. The suspect was not wanted for outstanding offences.
