Construction manager for the 27-storey building containing 100 student residences with an eight-storey podium and four levels of underground parking is Eastern Construction Co. Ltd. The podium will house the school of nursing, midwifery education, the school of nutrition, the school of occupational and public health, communications, government and community engagement, university advancement, food services and a fabrication zone. The owner is Ryerson University and occupancy has been scheduled to begin in fall 2018. The architect is Perkins + Will Canada and consultants are: WSP Canada Inc. (structural); MCW Consultants Ltd. (mechanical); Crossey Engineering Ltd. (electrical) and DTAH (landscape). Subtrades include: GFL (excavating).
