CRCE Construction Ltd. was awarded a $6.5-million contract from the city to be the general contractor for the work that extends from First Street to Palace Pier Court. The job involves reconstruction of TTC platforms, creating bi-directional cycling tracks, road resurfacing and sidewalk construction. Subcontractors are Black & McDonald, Gazzola Paving, Woodbine Markings and Global Road & Sewer Maintenance. Work began in June 2017 and is to be completed this December.
