Window installation is reaching the top floor at the Riverside condos in Markham, Ont.
The owner is Times Group Corporation and Life Construction Inc. is the construction manager. The work includes two eight-storey buildings and one 28-storey building with a total of over 600 units. The project will have a fitness centre with a walk-out to the outdoor patio, ping pong, billiards and card lounges, a library/WiFi lounge, a party room complete with a fireside dining area, a bar and access to an outdoor patio. The 10th floor will have an outdoor pool and sun deck with a landscaped terrace. Completion is scheduled for early 2018 and the project was designed by Kirkor Architects and Planners. Consultants are: Sigmund Soudack & Associates (structural); M.V. Shore Associates (1993) Ltd. (mechanical); Trace Engineering Ltd. (electrical); and Hefele Makowka Design Associates (interior).
