Work is progressing on the new King Township Municipal Centre in King City, Ont.
The general contractor for the project is Aquicon Construction and Colliers International are project managers. The new centre will provide a larger council chamber and multi-use gymnasium/event space as well as a York Regional Police substation. The owner is the Corporation of the Township of King. The architect and prime consultant is +VG Architects — Toronto and consultants are: Jain Consultants (mechanical/electrical); Counterpoint Engineering (civil); Burnside (infrastructure); Stephenson Engineering Ltd.-Toronto (structural); and Snow Larc Landscape Architecture.
