Toronto building receives award from Interior Designers of Canada

TORONTO — Toronto’s 100 Broadview, designed by Quadrangle Architects & Interiors, recently received an Award of Merit in the Innovation in Design Thinking category at the Interior Designers of Canada’s (IDC) inaugural Value of Design Awards.

Part of the IDC Value of Design Symposium, the awards focus on the human experience within interior spaces, recognizing interior designers whose design thinking positively impacts both the human and business aspects of a project, states a blog post by Quadrangle.

The Innovation in Design Thinking category highlights the potential of design to positively change and add value to lives, adds the blog.

A renovated commercial building, 100 Broadview has been designed for a contemporary tenant. It features common areas and a universally-designed lobby that relates the street to the entrance and opens up the former basement as a lower ground level.
