Construction progresses at the Empire Midtown mixed-use development on Eglinton Avenue West in Toronto.
Empire Communities is the developer/general contractor for the 16-storey, 219-unit building with seven townhomes, three levels of underground parking and ground floor retail. The building will also have an entertainment and lounge area, private dining room, fitness and yoga area, guest suites and an outdoor terrace. The project was designed by Richmond Architects Ltd. and Tanner Hill Associates Inc. is the interior designer. Consultants are: Jablonsky, Ast & Partners (structural); SCS Consulting Group Ltd. (civil); Trace Engineering Ltd. (mechanical/electrical); and Alexander Budrevics & Associates (landscape). Subtrades include Summit Forming Ltd.
