A piece of formwork gets lifted into place at the Southside Residences at Gramercy Park in Toronto. The owner is Malibu Investments Inc. and the construction manager is Tucker Hi-Rise Construction. The work includes one 15-storey tower and one 17-storey with a total of 500 suites. The towers will be connected by a six-storey podium containing retail. Amenities include a fully-equipped fitness room, yoga studio, party lounge, private dining room, wifi/study lounge, playroom, barbecue and picnic area, pet spa, rooftop pool and sky garden. The project was designed by IBI Group. Consultants are Jablonsky, Ast & Partners (structural), NAK Design Group (landscape) and Figure 3 (interior design). Subtrades include Michael Bros. Excavating and Innocon Inc. (concrete).
