KITCHENER, ONT. — Toronto-based Tercot Communities has announced it has acquired a 24-acre site in Kitchener with the intention of creating a development with 240 homes.
The new community will include single-detached homes, freehold townhomes and condominium townhomes, stated a May 10 release.
The project is being developed by Tercot in partnership with Greybrook Realty Partners and Cityzen Development Group.
The site consists of three parcels at 2219 and 2159 Ottawa Street South in Kitchener.
“The Kitchener Waterloo economy, regarded as ‘Canada’s Silicon Valley,’ is one the fastest growing in Ontario with the presence of highly acclaimed post-secondary institutions acting as catalysts for high-tech growth and innovation,” said Joe Valela, principal with Tercot, in the statement.
“This development will showcase Tercot’s signature design esthetic as well as acknowledge and enhance the historical community characteristics.”
