HALIFAX — Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) employees in Halifax inaugurated their new office headquarters July 8.
The new office building at 263 Susie Lake Crescent will serve as the home base for 170 staffers previously working at three different locations in the region. The structure was constructed in the Bayers Lake Business Park area of Halifax and was procured by Public Services and Procurement Canada. The building was designed to meet the LEED Gold. If certification is achieved after one year of operation, the new CBSA headquarters would be the first federal building in Atlantic Canada to reach the standard, a statement said.
