MIDLAND, ONT. — Construction has been launched at the Seasons on Little Lake subdivision in Midland, Ont., set to become the municipality’s largest master-planned community.
At build-out the community will have 1,400 homes with 3,500 new residents on 247 acres.
A Sept. 16 release said 93 per cent of the first two phases of the community are sold out and a third phase was recently launched. The developer is Hanson Development Group.
Amenities include access to Little Lake, 13 kilometres of planned recreational trails, a natural outdoor amphitheatre and a planned 10,000-square-foot Members Club with a gym, indoor and outdoor pools and club rooms. Buyers also gain membership in the Midland Golf and Country Club.
“There’s been tremendous interest in this project from the start and now that construction is underway, we believe it will create a groundswell of excitement and energy in the surrounding region and those relocating from the northern GTA,” said Mark Hanson, founder of Hanson Development Group, in the statement.
