Work is well underway on the third tower of the Residence of Islington Terrace on Mabelle Avenue in Toronto The owner is Tridel and the general contractor is Deltera Inc.
The overall project includes one 45-storey, 430-unit tower with 10 townhomes and four levels of underground parking, one 35-storey tower with 393 units with three levels of underground parking and one 44-storey, 430-unit tower with four levels of underground parking. There will be a three-storey podium containing the amenities and it will connect all three towers. The project was designed by Kirkor Architects & Planners and consultants are Sigmund Soudack & Associates Ltd. (structural), Novatrend Engineering Ltd. (mechanical/electrical) and Janet Rosenberg and Studio (landscape). Subcontractors include: Resform (formwork); Stellar Mechanical (mechanical/plumbing); Mayfair Electric Ltd.; Belmar Ventilation Systems (sheet metal); and Toro Aluminum (windows).
