TORONTO — Reserve Properties and Westdale Properties have unveiled plans for a new two-tower residential development to be built at Yonge and Eglinton in Toronto with design participation from music star Pharrell Williams.
Williams participated in the launch of the project Nov. 5 via a video message, stated a release. His involvement was said to include collaboration with an extended project team, including architects IBI Group and Interior Designers U31. The collaboration with Reserve and Westdale is the Grammy winner’s first foray into multi-residential development.
Design meetings were held in New York, Los Angeles and London over the course of the past year. Williams is said to have had input into the vision and materials of the facade, overall interior programming and furnishing choices for individual spaces.
Sales are slated to begin in early 2020. The two towers will be joined by a podium. The 750-unit project has been called untitled. Reserve and Westdale previously collaborated on the residential project Line 5.
