A drone’s view over the Kingsway By The River Community in Toronto shows the project is taking shape.
The owner is Urban Capital and the construction manager for the multi-phase project is Bluescape Construction Management. The work includes a 21-storey tower with 197 units and one eight-storey mixed-use building with 137 units and retail. It also includes 80 townhomes and a gateway to a new 17,000-square-foot public park. The amenities will include an outdoor terrace overlooking the Humber River Valley, fully equipped fitness centre, multi-purpose party room, outdoor sundeck, private dining room with service kitchen and lounge with multiple sitting areas. The project was designed by Wallman Architects Ltd. Consultants are: Jablonsky, Ast & Partners (structural); Cole Engineering Group Ltd. (civil); Able Engineering Inc. (mechanical and electrical); Bryon Patton & Associates (interior design); and Ferris + Associates Inc. (landscape). Subtrades include CBM (concrete).
