DUNDALK, ONT. — Community builder FLATO Developments recently launched Edgewood Suites, its flagship adult living community in Dundalk, Ont. with a virtual preview event and ribbon cutting ceremony.
Edgewood Suites, located at 270 Hagan St. E., is an apartment building for adults 55 and older, states a release. The building offers studios, one- and two-bedroom rentals and includes a cards room, rec room, multi-purpose room, library, faith room, concierge service, open dining area, guest room, storage lockers, barbecue patio and gazebos.
“Ontarians are finding it harder to find high-quality, affordable homes. With Edgewood Suites, we responded to a demand from local residents who want to stay in the area when they plan to retire,” said Shakir Rehmatullah, president and founder of FLATO Developments, in a statement. “Dundalk is a thriving community with much to offer its residents, and we are confident that the new apartment building will be the perfect addition to the neighbourhood.”
As part of its commitment to supporting communities where the company builds, in May, FLATO Developments donated $1 million to South East Grey Community Health Centre to support the establishment of a new healthcare clinic in Dundalk.
