TORONTO—Construction is underway on M2M’s two-tower Phase I in the North York area of Toronto. Below grade construction is almost complete and construction workers are now laying the structure for the ground level.
M2M, Aoyuan’s 8.6-acre master-planned community, initially launched in 2018. The master-planned community is being designed by Wallman Architects and construction being led by SKYGRiD.
Located near the Yonge and Finch subway terminal, the development will include 808 family-oriented residential units, new retail and commercial space facing Yonge Street.
The project will be geared towards families as over 60 per cent of units will be two bedroom and up. Amenities include indoor/outdoor kids play areas, a yoga studio, a two-storey gym, a private landscaped courtyard, a co-working space, a podium roof swimming pool and sunbathing deck, as well as indoor and outdoor lounge and entertaining spaces.
Phase two is expected to be released this summer.
Once complete, the M2M community will include five towers with 1,750 residential units, 180,000 square feet of office and retail space, a new community centre, a public park and a daycare.
