Construction manager named for massive revamp of Hamilton’s FirstOntario Centre

Hamilton, Ont.’s FirstOntario Centre is undergoing a massive facelift that will feature a reimagined facade, premium seating, improved sightlines, upgraded concourses, optimized clubs and suites and artist lounges. Work is scheduled to begin in spring 2024 and the building is expected to open in the fall of 2025.

EllisDon has been selected as the construction manager for the $280 million renovation at FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, Ont., project developer Oak View Group (OVG) reported to the Daily Commercial News.
