Canada BIM Council presents session on technology

TORONTO — CanBIM will present a session entitled Technology Built Innovation V: Addressing the Affordable Housing Crisis Through Digital Innovation and Technology in Toronto in September.

The event, which will take place at the Hyatt Regency Toronto on September 25 and 26, will feature presentations by Katerra, Sidewalk Labs, PCL Agile, and Tucker HiRise. Participants will learn about new design, construction and operation methods and technologies which will impact how to deliver affordable housing and cities in the future.

CanBIM will recognize the most innovative companies and professionals in the architecture, engineer, construction and operation industries with the 2019 CanBIM Innovation Spotlight Awards September 25. The awards help benchmark trends and the technological evolution of CanBIM’s top firms, as well as owners and building operators as they use digital technologies and processes in their respective businesses and organizations, indicates a release. The Innovation Spotlight Awards attract international attention and helps showcase CanBIM’s top talent on the world stage, adds the release.
