ONTARIO, CALIF. — The U.S.-based International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) has announced it will host its first virtual Education and Business Conference Nov. 30 to Dec. 4.
The conference will feature association reports and educational seminars including one titled GeoMicroDistricts: The Next Evolution in Ground Source Heat Pump Technology.
Other seminars will cover flue gas venting; new A2L refrigerants; the water demand calculator and the future of plumbing system sizing; the rehabilitation of industrial building drains using trenchless methods; and water heaters used as disinfectors and temperature controllers.
Also during the conference, IAPMO CEO GP Russ Chaney will deliver his final CEO report as he retires after 25 years as the association’s chief executive. COO David Viola has been named as Chaney’s successor.
