WEST LONDON DYKE PHASE 5/6 REPLACEMENT TENDER REQUEST

The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority, on behalf of the City of London, will receive sealed tenders for the supply, delivery, and services required for the project listed above until 12:00 p.m., local time, on Friday, July 19, 2019. Tenders are to be delivered to the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority at 1424 Clarke Road London, Ontario N5V 5B9.

This work generally includes the following items:

  • Replacement of a 315 m section of the existing West London Dyke on the west side of the north branch of the Thames River, from Blackfriars Bridge to St. Patrick Street;
  • Replacement structure is to be a near vertical geogrid reinforced wall with a modular block revetment facing approximately 8.5 m in height;
  • Associated landscape, pathways, railing and path lighting; and
  • Work to be undertaken within the footprint of the existing dyke structure.

Each Tenderer shall submit with their tender document a tender deposit in the amount of $150,000.00 and in the form detailed in the tender documents. The successful Tenderer will be required to furnish a performance and a labour and materials bond, each for 50% of the Contract Price excluding H.S.T., payable to the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority.

Mandatory Site Meeting for all Tenderers wishing to submit bids has been scheduled for Monday, July 15, 2019 at 10:00 am at the project site (Blackfriars Street).
