A worker for wood chip fuel business was killed yesterday after he was struck by a front end loader. WorkSafeBC is investigating the incident.
Delta Police media relations officer Sarah Swallow said officers were called to the industrial site in the 9400 block of River Road after reports that a worker was severely injured by a front end loader driven by a co-worker. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Swallow said the incident does not appear to be criminal and the investigation has be handed over to WorkSafeBC.
