Workers use a crane to remove the concrete forms as another floor goes up on the Motif.
The 30-storey residential concrete high rise is part of a $35 million residential and commercial development in Burnaby.
The residential development will have 148 units as well as 5 townhomes.
The owner and general contractor of the development is the Appia Group of Companies. The architect is Durante Kreuk Ltd.
There are several contractors on the project, including Vector Engineering Ltd (civil), Sterling Cooper & Associates Ltd. (mechanical) and Nemetz (S/A) & Associates Ltd (electrical).
Construction started in June 2007 and is scheduled for completion by 2009.
