Construction is on schedule for the new two-storey, 147,000-square-foot Target store at Victoria B.C.’s Hillside Mall.
The work is a joint project between EllisDon and Kinetic Construction. Demolition of the former Zellers started in November 2012.
The structural steel and concrete shell should be complete this summer. Following that, EllisDon will complete the fit-out of the building.
MMC International Architects from Toronto did the design of the department store.
The project is part of the ongoing $72-million redevelopment of the Hillside Mall.
