The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) will display over 4,000 LEED projects front and centre as part of World Green Building Week which runs from Sept. 16-20.

CGBC launched their online LEED Project Profiles database on their website, a search tool to showcase LEED projects that are registered and certified in Canada. It will include project case studies, high-res photos, a team list and a summary of the project and its features.

“Canada’s green building movement has evolved and grown a great deal over the past decade, as was evident earlier this year when we certified our 1000th LEED building,” said CaGBC President and CEO Thomas Mueller. “Profiling these projects demonstrates to the international community the depth of green building expertise, products and technologies in the Canadian marketplace.”

Canada is second in the world behind the United States for completed LEED certifications.
