Thompson Rivers University expands

Thompson Rivers University is opening the first new law school in Canada in 30 years, built on an existing structure in Kamloops, B.C.

4,500 sq ft. has been added to the original building, called the Old Main. The general contractors on the project were Yellowridge Construction Ltd., and Prime Choice Project Management Consultants Ltd. Design was by Diamond Schmitt Architects. The two existing floors of Old Main have been re-clad in cement-board planks and a glass elevator was installed at the north entrance of the existing building.
