The 20,000-square-foot Ashley Homestore in View Royal, near Victoria, is scheduled to open in mid-February. Work started in May 2015.

The furniture store’s showroom features over 12,000 square feet of polished concrete floors. Exterior finishes consist of metal siding, concrete block, stained western red cedar and a glass entrance feature wall. The general contractor was Farmer Construction, with design by  Omicron. The mechanical contractor was Archie Johnstone Plumbing & Heating Ltd., and the electrical contractor was Amped Electrical Contracting.
