The Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of its Awards of Excellence with a gala showcasing the best projects from across the province and the individuals that make up the Lower Mainland’s construction industry.
VRCA president Fiona Famulak spoke to the Journal of Commerce about the ongoing trends shaping the night’s winners, including the use of wood and the increasing presence of technology in construction.
Ledcor won in the General Contractor – over $50 Million category and Ledcor regional manager Dana Buchart and Pat Duggan of Affinity Partnerships spoke to the Journal about the challenges of building the BC Children’s and BC Women’s Redevelopment Project Phase 2.
