Highway 97 resurfacing begins

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — Work has begun resurfacing 29 kilometres of Highway 97 near Dawson Creek, B.C.

Penticton-based Peters Brothers Construction Ltd. have been awarded the $6.1-million contract and will begin by resurfacing on the north side of the CN Rail tracks near the Highway 97/Dangerous Goods Route intersection and will run to the Kiskatinaw River bridge.

Work is scheduled for completion by the end of summer 2018.
